THE CHALLENGE OF EATING SLOWLY
TEMPTATION
It looks
so delicious,
the scent is heavenly;
causing my mouth
to water,
and my taste
buds to crave
a bite
and indulgence
of a deeper
hunger.
NOW
I have it in
my grasp,
and am tempted
to devour my
chocolate chip cookie,
BUT
I will eat it slowly,
savoring each bite.
Do you quickly devour
or eat slowly?
