I carry the shame
so much regret remains
there was no reason why
even the amazing out come
it wasn't worth the price
my own love should have been enough
for me to be so insensitive and dumb
no excuse to use the word I used
to bring out the truth
about what happened to you
where a an animal not a man
took advantage of an under aged girl
mine wasn't the same crime
I forced you to relive that time
till the truth you realized
you were a victim of a predators crime
that a black spot on my heart
for the pain I brought on you and me
