Zephyr
Light escaped the slates of time -
Slates of silence...
To burst upon the window -
Centralized in a micro-dot.
Spreading in radial emanations
Of a white that captivates a sight.
This is the silence of the dreamer.
Alone in the crowd
In some… Supernatural receptivity.
The window became the mind
And the mind was reborn
Into a dream.
Rhythmic streams
Over silent sounds in silence.
Unnameable fluctuations
Carrying allusions of the profound.
* * *
Tell be about the terrestrial bliss
In being out of the thing
And delving into melodies of methodologies.
You have learned the omni-location of all things.
Awakened over the razors
Of rock formations of transitory
Appearances out of the rolling-crashing waves.
And you have become a magician’s amulet.
In the endo-cannabinoid of techno-status quos destroyed.
And I will hear and feel the laughter.

(I have always enjoyed listening to music when I write. I am able to get to a place where I do not even hear the music any more and I can only hear or feel my thought-form. like the drone of a drum beat the leads you to a trance like state. I have always done this... Some have told me they cannot concentrate with music on... I encountered a poet that had the exact same process... he described how he would enter a sort of hive like drone and then he knew he was in the right place and he would write. It was definitely confirmation for me. Like when we know without knowing. but yes... Seeking silence in all things. Even the most chaotic.)

I feel the same way around large bodies of water and a gentle wind, ZS. They evoke something deep within and my own tide swells with answers from the sediment of my being; past lives, experiences, simply knowing. Being.

Totally cool... I am a big water person, also.
(On a side note... Check out the movie Lords of Dogtown, if you want to. I just see so many parallels with writing, at least for me, and the lifestyle. And the quest. And correlatives to all of your wonderful and inspirational comments.)
