Divine Obsession

Please forgive my obsession, but your mouth,
Oh god, the pleasures!
I hear your voice with such tender ring,
your soul lives in the songs you sing.

When I kiss your lips, my mindís a whirl,
Oh god, such life to love!
These lips that touched your motherís breast
now form my treasured nest.

I'll spend a lifetime learning your face,
Ah, but what a divine obsession!
Living portal for every breath of air
now caresses me gently as if in prayer.

Author's Note
I was sure I'd spend a lifetime learning a lover's face, but death separated us. Still, she is my divine obsession, giving comfort and pleasure.
