What Joys in Imperfection!

In these sacred moments
we celebrate all that is,
or was,
or might one day become.

This ancient sacrament of love
is birthed to me from her pure spirit
meeting my less-than-pure desires.

Her earnest eyes are bright and clear,
predicting what might become.

Nothing in life is perfect.
But what joys we find in imperfection!
