Pollen
You are pollen
On the wings of butterflies.
You are the glass-winged angel
Whose roses kiss the skies.
You are the final ray
Of a setting sun…
And you are the day
That’s just begun…
You are the sum of all dreams,
Between the hours and the beams
Of the moon you are to me;
My heart a wave within your sea.
On a canvas my symptoms drew
My likeness standing next to you
On pearl shores of diamond towers:
A paradise that could be ours.
And you were the final ray
Of the setting sun.
And you were the day
That had just begun.
My heart a wave within your sea,
Tell me if it is meant to be.
