libido active and energy strong
Covid blues has you limiting outings
and an introvert at heart?
What do you do when you finally venture
out and your attention is glued
then seeing a more assertive gent
dazzle that person with banter?
What do you do when the touch
of a lover is an ancient memory
flowers and rivers so awake
while the love life is on life support?
What do you do when you pass
the elderly couple holding hands
the youngsters necking in the park
and the guitar can’t kiss back?
What do you do when pent up
feelings drive the pen to the same
erotic dalliances widening space
between wants and what is?
