Sometimes my Love
My feelings
Are like a billowing surge
Thoughts and feelings tumbling forth
In silence
Without a word
A flood my heart cannot contain
Like the pelting rain of heaven
The swift beating of my heart
And they
Tumultuously
All for you conspiring
And I
Lost within this dream distilled
Transfixed
To all else blind save you
Who stills the very air
And by whose grace
Time surrenders to forever
As our souls dance within love's gaze
Entranced
Scare remembering to breathe
My Love
What is love
If not spellbound moments
Which the swirl of emotions seek to claim
As I desire by softest touch
Passion
My tongue to free
To again find words in whispers
Sweet tellings that still fall short
Save spoken within a kiss
Gifted from my heart
