Reflection
droplets echo in silence
screams rip holes in the sky
wilderness lies bleeding
as spirits gather in a circle
pink wash of a setting sun
shivers, fades to shadow
time stands still and frosted
caressed by a velvet tongue
wisps of an unrehearsed play
beasts of light as thick as fog
bloody cardboard on a rainy day
rhythms let slip the beaten dog
bright acacia now refracted
lost in the shrill crystal shards
inflorescence lays shattered
amidst sad orbital eccentricity
sanguine drops trickle on down
paints the faded stained glass
seeping past forgotten auricles
would assuage torrid animus
