Keeping busy
day after day,
gives your life meaning
stops you day-dreaming.
You look down
on other people,
being lazy-
drives you crazy.
But when the game is over
no more floors to shine,
who's the one
who wasted their time.

I am having a dig at people who fill their days with endless jobs, chores and trivia, and who think they are so virtuous for doing so, and also asking the question what is life all about....just keeping busy?!! Or is that just avoiding life...a sort of 'acceptable' alternative to watching garbage on tv all day.
