Yellow Brick Road

The only one impressed by stress is a diamond
Everyone else under duress can pop like a hymen
The strongest of men or women have a threshold
Mining to find peace of mind is more precious than gold

Our pens can only win but so many battles
Before our strong, steel cages begin to rattle
The body will tattle even when we try to be bold
It'd be a lie if I implied that life's a yellow brick road
