The Right
Who told you,that it was alright
To show me the darkside of the moon?
Who gave you permission to take me out of
The sunlight....and submerge my soul
In shit .... as if I was a mushroom?
Who gave you the right...to hurt me?
Who gave you the right to make me bleed?
Who gave you the right to take MY innocence
Away from me.
Who told you to turn away from my regular
Mental Programming and tune me into things obscene
I was 4....and you were 14.
You Bastard....
You Coward.....
You Incomplete Soul,
I called you Brother....
When all we had was each other,
In that childrens home.
You said I was like your Lil Sis...
So tell me something....
How many OTHER Lil Sisters did you ruin,
How many OTHER Lil Sisters did you rape?
You used to buy me red licorice to buy my silence
Now when I think of you...
I wish you nothing but violence.
You wolf in sheeps clothing....
You stealer of dreams.....
I wish the bowels of the earth would open
and swallow you whole.....
Damn you for making me aware of demons
at an age when I should have been
Communicating with Angels
Instead .... I was wiping your semen...
and my blood off of my tiny body,
Frantic, and afraid....
As if I was the violator.....
There will be a special place in hell for you.
Believe that,
Because I do.

The darker side of your poetry. Over the years I've seen so many horror stories like this. It's shocking, horrifying - but there's no end to what we, as humans, can become immune to.
I think it's important to tell you that what makes your writing truly interesting is not the horror of your experiences, but the obvious strength of your spirit in the face of these horrors. You somehow epitomize how the human spirit thrives on overcoming adversity.
I like that you spit fire and venom at this individual. Gratuitous forgiveness is often uglier than honest resentment. Forgiveness should only be done if it benefits the forgiver. It has nothing to do with the wrong-doer.
Technically, the rhyme integrates it and the closing one really drives the point home. Well done. R.

Thank you Red,somehow this situation came flooding back to me and I wrote this piece in a matter of minutes. When I was done I was crying so I guess I released something. It was a very cathartic experience for me.
As always, thank you for your honest critique and support.Its strange you know,I have an associative friend in you though we have never met,live 1000's of miles away,and I live in a city with people who know me.... but dont really know me,and have no idea how important poetry is to me.

If this poem is based on truth then perhaps you have helped yourself get rid of your inner demons that are left when a child is in any way abused...
I think you are very brave to do this and I hope that you use your natural poetry talent to help you get better...that is what I do...poetry has helped me a lot.....You have the talent...

Your words are so Kind! Thank you, and yes this is a true story. It is cleansing to write about the pain, I actually still cry when I read it. So I think this is helping alot. this poetry forum,and wonderful people like you hsowing support! (smile)
