With your charisma, energy and outlook, you tumbling into the dark is not likely. But if it is so, me thinks you'll have an armed army of poets come and retrieve you. The subconscious can be a $itch sometimes.

Gordon Ramsay is going to save your soul?

A genius, vampire, and sweet talker too, DaVinci is the whole package. I tumble in the dark all the time now but I do want to know what an army of armed poets looks like coming to retrieve me. That has to be an interesting sight. No doubt with some awesome invention...

Haha... I like Gordon Ramsay. I don't think he is going to save my soul but He might eat me though or at least yell at me. I can cook some stuff though.

You will never fall into darkness sweetie, just look for your friend across the pond, reach out and I will pull you to the light.

Fear can cause anyone to act irrationally. Brava, BD🌹

Fear is a very powerful emotion and it can really cause a lot of distress and as you said, acting irrationally sometimes. On the other hand it can also keep us from making bad decisions. Definitely one of the key emotions that can torment us though especially when we have no control over something. Thank you so much for the comment GW.

Very good point, it does steer one away from bad decisions.

Then again, it steers one away from good decisions sometimes too. Definitely a core emotion that shapes our lives in many ways. We could definitely have a long discussion on fear. ;) Maybe should write more on that...

Thanks PoetSpeak, feels like forever. :) Still have things going on but hopefully I can stay more present here in May. And I really appreciate what you said about does not quite seem the same, not sure about that but it's a really nice thing to say. :) Been in the darkness enough in my life that sometimes it comes out in words. I’m terribly sorry you’ve  been experiencing some difficulties of late. That stinks. I hope all, but will settle for most, resolve quickly for you.

What I related to so strongly in your poem was the feeling of intense sadness even knowing it won’t last forever it only seems like it might. That fuzzy area from one point to another no one ever gives you a specific if-then timeline how long an unhappy situation will last. It’s such a time suckage.

I continue to find your formatting extremely cool. It allows your reader to grab hold of a word and remember a phrase. I look forward to your bright light and more constant return as soon as you’re able.  Once again, I hope things get better soon.  H🌷

Sadness is definitely the emotion when writing this so it is imbued with it. Some things are very hard.

Sadly, I am no stranger to such dark and heavy places. Still they have shaped me for better or worse and continue to do so. Each experience is definitely unique and life always presents us with challenges; some are very difficult. Thank you so much for the comment Wally.
