STANDING ALONE

REALITY

Beauty is all around me;
the scent of essence
flows in the air;
Eyes appear hungry,
smiles are inviting;
lips are hungry.
YET
I stand alone,
erect, tall, throbbing
with desire greater
than ever.
Oh, if those passing by
only knew what a surprise
and I would be
for their wildest pleasures,
no limits set by me.
MUST
I stand alone and
ache? Isn't there
a hungry person out there?
Imagine the wonder
and magic of two
that are standing alone
will share when aloneness
is gone.
How much longer do I,
we, have to wait?
