a country boy, world did change
may is here once more, almost 40 years
the month his world did change
on a dim lite dance floor his heart soared
remembering today those feeling vividly
the desire in there first meeting
love at first sight, or just hind sight
what every it was, it started that night
she was and is perfection above all else
she has been my life for 39 years
I have need for nothing but her
