Holding no grudge

You pushed me to the ground and laughed.
I couldn’t make you feel the same way so I used my kindness as a raft.

You used your words like knives in my soul.
I can’t remember the last time it was whole.

You hurt me, but I don’t hold a grudge.
I’ve tried to move on but my heart won’t budge.
