---these words describe a range of events
inviting themselves into your daily routine
only to fingerpaint on the walls
eat everything in the refrigerator
and get comfortable in your favorite chair
 
Are these acts of God?
 
Who can say?
 
While they sometimes certainly can be
annoying-as-fuck inconveniences
 
often they are welcomed distractions
interrupting the monotony  
you wish to break free of
 
seemingly happening out of the blue
for no apparent reason
 
but there are no accidents
---only good vibrations
 
And if God is out there
spending his days dreaming about  
 
a pair of giant, colorful moths fluttering
into a household full of cats
 
unclaimed packages being delivered
to the wrong doorsteps
 
or phantom moaning by your bedside at night
and banging noises upstairs when you're not
 
then just imagine for a minute or two
how incredibly entertaining his existence is
 
and how blessed yours could be
