my loves dream

your love is what my dreams were made of
the love now well aged and fist rate
one might compare it to a fine wine
what do I know I drink night train
that look you gave on our wedding day
I was perfect in every way
then reality of live smacked us in the face
we fought that very night
you looked at me the next day I love you anyway
today is a different time and we are different in every way
now you look at me like you did on our wedding day
the love we make is in spite of our wedding night
two kids, two ideas, two different rules
new maturity , new ideas, and our rules 39 years
your love is what my dreams are made
the life we share and the life we have made
has defined the beautiful love we make
