satiated

day’s labor visible

trees
shrubs
low rock wall

evening breeze
rising from western hills

single malt on-the-rocks

rocker creaking

sun setting behind desert mountain

farmers’s happy hour

About the feeding quail
The hummingbird flights
The shadows
And cooling temperature
But then the ice would melt
And I would be on my cellular
