Something Or Someone

Addictive are emotions
they lead to unlimited commotions
and result in life destroying demotions ,
ambitions of promotions
to idyllic locations
that lead to quixotic vacations
and business trips to far away train stations .

Then it doesn't transpire
you've landed yourself deep in the quagmire
your brain is frying behind your eyes
that are on fire ,
the flames
that lick away your aims
fuel up higher .

You've got the virus
right behind your iris .
You went for this big emotional aim
only to fall off the train
it was all in vain
you lost at the game
but you'll go for it again
you can't be tamed
and your ego wont let itself be blamed ,
because your too damn ashamed .

To love a career
or someone impossible to steer
your biggest fear
is that you can't keep clear .
Dont bury yourself into the ground
to please a memory
for those who didn't hang around .

Laughing hoping and crying
jumping falling then dying .
Addictive are emotions its an earthling tradition ,
the human condition
love and life
is one big expedition .
