Love in the Moment
live for the moment
doesn’t matter if you lose it
only need the journey
even when you falter
don't be afraid to try
always keep that rawness
inside you need to harness
kindness, respect, and love
take it all in before it’s gone
I always want to know it
bring it in and hold it
show compassion before it’s gone
love in the moment
this is my happiness
writing love, killing sadness
letting go of depression
no reason to harbor the past
throw mistakes to the wind
looking pass temptation
spend time to feed the heart
starve those demons to the bones
life is way too short to lose hope
you only need a moment
don't ever waste that moment
I always want to know it

bad guys
fake girls
nasty habits
crazy world
love lost
love tossed
can’t handle it
move on
tell one
tell all
don’t ever be afraid to be
who you really are
when real emotions bloom
it will be truly beautiful
to grow new relationships
will kill the hate within
don't waste time
living up to others expectations
only need to find
your own motivation
life is a fragile flower
it needs nurtured beneath the skin

Awww... That's so sweet, dearest... I don't know but it seems my mind has frozen... May be too crammed up with worries n stress that there doesn't seem any space for creativity.... I need to still my restless mind, probably then I'll be able to spill some... And may be then someday I'll be able to collab with you again... It was great fun working with ya😊😊🙁

This really spoke to me, deeply. Your rewrite was uber successful, IMO. This might be up there with one of my favorites you've written, DC.

Such a wonderful compliment. I remember at the time I wrote the original i was rather depressed. I think I was just sick of it and decided I wanted to write something that made me feel better. I wanted to update the poem since it was on my other account and I don't really use that one anymore.
