Purple Rain

Since the release of the album that bore your name
your destiny was Music's Hall of fame

One night i met your band members at the Smart bar having fun
i asked where you were-they said out having your hair done

You were a part of eighties that i will never forget
as fans for all the good time we are forever in your debt

You stood up to the record industry and didn't back down
nowadays folks just like their whore or clown

You were not afraid to tell folks the truth
about Chem-trails and the Illuminati you were a real sleuth

People didn't know about your secret philanthropy
or that you gave money to Trayvon Martin's family

As a musical talent you were prodigious
and it the end you were religious

All i feel now  is pain
Because i will no longer see you laughing in the Purple Rain
