tango of rock and sky
blue overrides my pleas
Mother Earth and Father Sun
waltz to music on the breeze

dawn slowly seeps down
your creviced incline
leaves the shadows to
cower from the shine

solitude is my guide
a whisper to testify
in a voice as quiet as
your wide open sky

caught in a spiritual current
dreams bright and pure
silence of eternity not errant
journey to the dark side of obscure

across this sea of waking
dreams you speak to me
in riddles and I listen to your
sighs in rhythm and rhyme

tawny kisses of scented swirls
echo sweet harmonies again
lost in green pools, pale curls
amber clouds heavy with rain

I wait here in silence
at this open door
