Young and Restless Heart
I can see the wanderlust in their eyes
A world of opportunity is waiting out there
With nothing but bright and open skies
As they’re slowly becoming more conscious and aware
You can see the wonder last in their faces
From little children to adolescent women and men
Adventure will take them different to places
To a cosmic destiny and fate that’s only known to them
We can feel their spirit longing to explore
As the days are becoming better and bright
Hope and enthusiasm seems to grow more
For the day will come soon when they too take flight
The times are changing and so are they
Life calls out to the young and restless heart
It’s a cycle and it’s always been that way
It’s been in our natural instincts right from the start

I don't know where you get all this inspiration from, Wally, but you're doing a phenomenal job this year, as both a team member and entrant.
I enjoyed the philosophical offering of this piece very much. The way things are contrasted with the way things have always been. And I LOVED wonderlust and wonder last! You're such a great father. You actually remind me of mine in the way you deal wisdom through words. It never seems judgemental but more directional so they can make up their own minds.

Thank you Ahavati. At the time my niece was preparing to leave for college, my oldest son was also making plans. I remember the feeling of wanting to leave home and explore, and I could see the excitement in them as well.
