there's a fence with my name on it, and I've named it indecision
This door is revolving
my heart's on one side
my head's on the other
I'm happier when I'm not here
but there's comfort in the known
and I keep trying to find
something to hold on to
But my fingers slip
and your fingers slip
and we both know a truth
we can't say
without exposing the cracks
in the lies that keep us here
familiar yet miserable
This door is revolving
my heart's on one side
my head's on the other
My life on hold
while I stand in the doorway
one foot in, one foot out
and going nowhere
