Amber

When I look in your eyes
I'm reminded of who you are
And that fate not chance
Allowed me catch a falling star
Let me hold you in my arms
Heart racing
A blanket tight around us
As the last amber of the sun
Gives itself to the sea
And night with moonlit cast
Illuming foaming surf
Softly lulling
Speaks the dreaming of my heart
That you'd give yourself to me
Not just this day
But always
Hearts running wild
Dancing in the bonfires of setting suns
And with sweet, soft kisses
Of last nights' remembrances
Rise to each new day
In moments that tell our story
For I would live deeper
Love deeper
For what is life without love
Truth
You are the beating of my heart
And this Is our day
Our moment
Our time
Will you be mine?
