Hemorrhage
My hands are bleeding.
My heart is reaching,
Weeping and weary
For a sign of life.
There is nothing left in the skies.
I close myself behind my eyes.
Everything is clear within these veils
In the stillborn land of the untold.
And I swim against the current
Of my hemorrhaging eternity
To see if there was anything
I felt as you once felt me.
What follows the long night of the spirit?
Is all as dark as it seems?
Why swells my slumber to disinherit
The bridge between our dreams?
