I am humbled by your ability to bring me to a quiet thoughtful place, I feel like after reading this that your words are cleverly masterfully assembled, your structure is spot on as is the presentation  darling,  your poetry like a good wine gets better with  age. My dear Blue, your poetry too gets better as it gets older, meaning  everyday your poetry is growing if that makes sense , each and every stroke you craft is a celebration because you have the gift of expression run with it, never let it go mama!

My utmost thank you, Jackie. The fragility I harbor about my skill level or quality of write, is always there, pressing on my psyche. I guess that's why I constantly crave approval /feedback. I freely admit that. I've always been the 'pleaser' and when I feel like I'm failing there, it hits HARD. I know it's from the way I was raised and that, that was so fucked - So I try not to let it affect me too badly. Some days are easier than others. I share this because your reaction blew me away in just the right way, fusing that forever permeating fragile sensibility with some fucking strength! 💪🏻 That's a true gift and for that, my gratitude is immense. I appreciate the list add and all your kindness conveyed.

Perception tends to focus on certain facets and aspects of the personality. You wrote this with imagery that dazzled and helped me to understand how others perceive me. An epic of seeing and comprehending that is a saga of poetry. And those last lines to be fully seen is a gift given by your beloved. The joy of such connecting and cognizance of being is not always there and we are very lucky to get it. You said it so perfectly.

One of the hardest things to do as a poet is poet with authenticity ... have it come thru in the words ... maintain the perfect balance of bold and vulnerable ... share ... but not whine ... use the poem's structure to lull the reader ... step in close ... leaving the reader/listener ... deeply moved ... you just did that ... perfectly ...

heart- mind and soul ” I really don’t think it’s asking for too much. The loneliness of not being seen and heard is more isolating than hiding in a vault. It’s a wonderful thing when the ability to seek out that special someone and raise them up happens. I’ll let you know if that ever occurs but it’s not looking too likely. Which brings me back to the notion where to shop for one of these...

I wish I knew, Honoria, that's for sure. I have never felt more alone, isolated and desolate than living with someone who was supposed to be 'till death do us part', yet couldn't ever see ME FOR ME, even if there was a gun to his head! Now alone, I can say it's 100% more painful to go through that than to be lonely all on my own awaiting that possibility

I'm keeping my eye out for that particular store... My hunch is, it's more brick-and-mortar than online... bahahaha!!

I am deeply grateful for your thoughtful comments and the generous list add. I work and work on my spoken word improvement and sometimes it feels like I am chasing my tail. This felt like a poetry reading of the Beats in the 1950s. The poetic virtuosity is stunning. The narrative tact leaves nothing to want. You face your life in a go for broke poem that faces your lover with all your sincerity that gathers force like an emotional gale. Each line is like the dawn of a truth that will come as surely as sunrise.
