As my tears come falling down on all of these keys
I'm stuck hoping, praying, wishing nobody goes through times like these

I shifted my time and focus off of you and unto me

Not realizing the pain, not realizing the hurt

I never imagined in my darkest nightmares I'd be the protagonist
Or that my cons always seemed to outweigh the pros on this list
I didn't have a father figure who showed me the art of love
So I'm doing all this blind praying we capture the signs from above

I vow to protect and heal your heart something I mentioned from the start
I want to cuddle and hold you all night let you get everything off your heart
I want to listen to you talk about your day in any kind of way
I can put the games away and show you I can find another time to play

I should've given you so much more to the point your hands became sore
You are owed the world and then some but I came up short
I will not repeat my past actions, failures, or mistakes
I miss you so much I'll move mountains and even lakes

Being without you, time doesn't seem to stop and my heart just beats slower
