ran into an old
friend
lost track of
the years
( life happens)
"How long has
it been?"
"Jesus!
That long?"
we began

because we were

Dear BK,
Chance encounters such as this play with my head after we’ve parted and finished whatever else was intended for that day. I always tend to wonder why after such a long period of time was it necessary for me to see them again? Then I decide it’s to shut me up on my getting older process because I won’t believe how they’ve aged.
(In my defense I didn’t say my response would be intellectual and mature😉). Love the write.

Yes, how time Flys. I'm 72, and it never ceases to amaze me just how fast it whirls into the year or even day. When a kid, I couldn't movevquick enough, now I say sloooow down.

It's amazing the number of people you make friends with over the years only to lose track of more than half as life passes by. It takes time and effort. It sounds like it must have been a nice encounter and a trip down memory lane.
