I wish this macho guy crap would get up and fling itself off the tallest bridge, never to be heard from again. To cry is human. There is nothing wrong with vulnerability sometimes. I love this piece of raw openness that you have shared.

Oh the feels.  I cried when I lost my first dog, I was 22, had her for 12 years.  Got my 2nd about year and half now.

I want another but I still want her
You can't replace that feeling
Hoping with luck for a new experience

Yes, tears in the shower.  A great way to cry.  Allowing the water to run over our faces, running over our heads, trickling and showering down over our shoulders can certainly cleanse our spirit selves for a time.
