Womb of the dying
Sometimes
death
comes
an
unfathomed
calendar
Leap year lands
in the lap of time
rear
view
mirrored
structure
basis of belief
cultivating
self
limitations
anxious to design
greatest of crushes
each day shifts
recordings
exist
of
laughter
wild timid wind
returning
in my body
I have kisses on my cheeks
from blackest bruises
of ashen mouths
your bones
will not
break
me
death
comes
an
unfathomed
calendar
Leap year lands
in the lap of time
rear
view
mirrored
structure
basis of belief

laughter
wild timid wind
returning
in my body
I have kisses on my cheeks
from blackest bruises
of ashen mouths
your bones
will not
break
me

Re. Womb of the dying
Omg Rian !!!!! Your words explode on this page like vivid strokes of fury. For me I feel like this is perhaps about a past marriage memories that were awful to be blunt. Maybe even DV and if that is true, you’re descriptive imagery is spot on and magnificently written, you clever clever woman you ☺️

Dear Blue,
Your words are always so warm and supportive. Humbled to be described as luminescent light, However dark some themes might be I try to focus on the light within. This poem is a bit of everything, it really is about Death on all levels of existence and beyond that.
Dehn Soras art helped to create this poem also, I dint know him before but stumbled upon his art while reading an article on the net.
Honored about the list add

There is something of the shadows of beingness, the endurance trials that show us what we are made of, the sands of time, rivers of scars in the molecules of our being, that create our topography, in your vivid detailing. It is exquisite to ponder.

Daniel,
That description should get a golden medal, you are so poetry empathic. I feel you are so linked to the deeper meanings of poetry that you can see the wholeness of it. Thank you so much for seeing!
