A Lovely Score

They had no way of knowing
That her future was assured
Her mother called it fate
Her dad said she was lured

Regardless, it was meant to be
She thought her date was fine
With red nails her mother manicured
The man thought her refined

He was sure to have his way
He calmly played his part
Then magic struck them in the dark
Like an ancient work of art

Her tender hands gripped his arm
As he pressed into her womb
Their rhythm and breathless gasps
Filled the hotel room

He knew what he was doing
He’d played this part before
It was for her the first time ever
To be filled inside her core

To her it felt just like a dream
She thought she’d found her love
He thought she was a lovely score
As he gave his final shove
