In A World Of Texts and Emails

In a world of texts and emails that fade away...
Sometimes it's best to use a pen and paper for what you have to say...
I read through many a old card and love letter today...
I wanted to hear words in such a bad way; but here they are not and with voices they did not have words to say...
While reading so many a time I turned my head and allowed the tears to lead the way...
As I recite through each sentence the words seemed brand new...
It took me back to a place so special and true...
And reminded me of how much I could love and be loved too...
I was laughing and crying all at the same time, how could I have forgotten these wonderful memories somewhere deep in my mind...
Beautiful thoughts, dreams, hopes, aspirations of wonderful things, that would come to transpire through what my life would later bring...
Even though they are gone now and now them I can't see...
With wonderful treasures like these fresh and close to my heart they will always be...
So in a world of emails and texts that fade away...
I know in my heart it's better to use pen and paper for what you have to say...
