In the silence of the grave

The Resurrection of Our Lord
Jesus won the victory!
He conquered sin, hell and the grave
He conquered all for you and me!

Oh what wonderous love un-matchless
That our Savior humbly died
There upon the cruel Golgotha
He was willingly crucified

For three days, His body lay
In the silence of the grave
But on the Third day He arose
Triumphant over every foe!

Oh victorious deed un-matchless
When our Savior did arise
He is the Life and Resurrection
Our High Priest above the skies!

All power is His alone
He is crowned in majesty and glory!
The Risen Christ forever ruling
This is the glorious gospel story!

Oh the sinner is forgiven
Oh the sinner-- justified!
For the Lord did rise victorious
And He gives resurrection life!

He is the Lord of earth and Heaven
And His blood does still atone
He gives life and that eternal
Authority is His and His alone!
