Cowgirl in Black

Cowgirl in Black

Cowgirl in black
Wears her bare skin
Where rodeo riders
Are decked in chaps
From hipster hips to knobby knees
A naked V formed
From shoulders to solar plexus
With her sunshine smile
Born from a blue-jeaned boyfriend
Who escorts her campus-wide
Under live oak visions
Of ancient love
For sidewalk romance
In a trance
Deep in each other
She leads the day
With him under her sway
In the merry month of May
