WHEN TWO POETS MAKE LOVE

A note in one of
my old English
notebooks remind
me of one definition
of a POET:
"A poet is a person
possessing special
powers of imagination
or expression to create."
IMAGINE
two poets making
love how expressive
and imaginative it would be?
Think about it!
The meter would be perfect;
all the elements of pleasure
would be enjoyed; the
foot would be perfect, new
poetic devices would
be created by both lovers
who are
LAUREATE'S. Even a Slam
would take it to
the next level.
YES,
the Greeks were right
when they defined poet
as a "thing made" (poieme);
it has a wonderful meaning
when applied to making
love in creative ways.
Oh, to find a poet
to poieme with. Is there
one ready to experiment
with new FORMS?
