Happiness  or Something Else

Miserable  
you count the ways
 
you can be mad
or maybe sad
 
Sow to the wind
reap the tornado  
 
I realized  
you cried for missed joy
but not to seek it
 
If you wanted happiness  
you would sow it

whatever little seed
you could find
 
or gratitude  
so I decided  
 
I too, had a choice  
teaching happiness  
by example  
 
making my antidote
instead of crying tears
 
It would do you good
to plant it
in your heart
