Creation.

We have to laugh
About the absurdity
Of it all.

This is
The fallible,
Human heart,

And it borders
The outskirtting
Perimeter,

To ward
Against
The mind's

Having
A heart
Of its own,

Thought
Propagated
Feelings.

Not
Emotions.
Fake emotions.

Strong thoughts
That want to
Appear emotional.

Control freaks
For the planet's
Secret steering wheel.

Ruler
Over
All.

What are
On the tombstone
Slogans

That threaten
Our sleep
Night and day?

"Live for something,
Or you'll die
For nothing."

There is always
the escape route
of self-righteousness,

a common thread,
wound tightly
around

the sapien mind
in its quest to redirect
the beating heart.
