If our ships
of Democracies
do not have
real captains
that can sail the seas

Skill
And Courage
in these heavy winds
of Possibilities
of what can be
Achieved
Then it is sad
to say
that the eager to please
the wannabe
spoon fed
and the lizard mentality
People
All cast a shadow
Of Fools Gold
and from within
Slowly
Rising
On our streets
Barbarism
Savageness
Set free
As we continue
to stare
blankly
at these things
that stare at us
