The Power of God

- The Power of God -

The power of God is within us all, from those on high to those that fall,
We hath but to tap into its' energy, to feel its' course, to embrace its' flow.
If we art ever to break down the tyranny of self-created limits and their walls,
Then into the true Light, and beyond that to our destined Paradise, we must go.
Let me teach thee the path, and if thou be lonely then I may lead thee by the hand...
As we venture forth unto the promised pastures, radiant in our true glory.
Peace must reign within every heart, only then to reign throughout every land,
As we rewrite our fates, to rewrite the ending to mankind's ever-tragic story.
The power of God is within us all, from those on high to those that fall,
It includes the power to do the greatest good, and yet also to do cruelest ill.
Know the moment is come, for come that hour is, and we must heed the call,
And attune ourselves aright, tapping into the very energy of the fair Divine Will.
Let me teach thee the path, and if thou be lonely then I may lead thee by the hand...
As we venture forth unto the destined Paradise, beyond every distant light.
Our path must lie within every heart, for we art as innumerable as is desert sand,
As we seek our answers, I wilt show thee the truths beyond the veils of night.
Let us put aside our ancient difficulties and fears,
Let us wash away spilled blood and every old hate!
Let us wash away the bitterness of our fallen tears,
Let us all be changed, before it hath become too late!
The world is ours, within each and every hand, to remake and to shape,
In our own everlasting image, be that vision of light or fathomless dark.
This is the promised destiny, and we cannot afford to flee it or from it escape,
So listen well my children, unto my words; listen well, and hark!
Thou art redeemed, only by the grace of what thou dost embrace of righteousness.
Thou canst be cleansed, with love rather than with fire; purged of the sins of thy flesh!
Follow after my example, heed my teachings, and faithfully deviate not from this.
Thou shalt possess the exalted power, to rebuild the very world and remake it afresh!
The power of God is within us all, we hath only to feel its' glow.
If we art ever to know the joys of Heaven's halls, then this truth we must firstly know.
Let me lead thee forth by the hand,
As we venture forth, as doth an army unto battle.
The enemy is hatred itself, which follows a sinful demand,
Seeking to make us its' prey, that we may play its' cattle.
The power of God is within us all, be it a power most fair or foul.
Its' siren song, we cannot ignore or seek to stall, hiding as a monk doth behind a cowl.
Let me lead thee forth by the hand,
As we venture forth, hand in hand together.
We must be ready to make our righteous and holy stand,
Our souls, becoming as pure as is an angelic feather.
This is the Word, and this is the Way,
The portal that leads the faithful to a better day.
Let us open that portal, and declare for all to see!
It doth lie within our power, for God hath given us the key.
