I can't lose my voice
To the winds of time
I can't be silent for long
I need to sing again
The song must go on
It must continue to play
I can't allow the storm
To take it away
I will sing my song
I will tell my story
I will find that little voice
This heart will sing again

I thought it was just me. That your poem reflects similar feelings, well, I’m grateful to not be so lonely in these thoughts. You’ve so aptly expressed these ideas of disconnected-ness for lack of a better word. I’m sure things will turn around but it it sure is taking its sweet time. Cheers to a future of renewed song! H🌷
