Seasons of Life

May the brisk winds of springtime
Carry your ship afar
Toward your dreams and hopes of tomorrow
As it glides across the bar.

May the noonday sun of summer
Beam light rays from above
And butterfly's of happiness
Encircle you with love.

In fall, when leaves of autumn
Dance on the wind of delight
May the port of your desires
Be there in full sight.

And now in winter
When chill north winds blow
May your ship be in safe harbor
Protected there from cold and snow.

Then may memories of a long life
Happily lived as above -
Be like the glow of warm embers
Filling you with contentment and love.
