On The Edge {Chapter 17}

As Kells sat there on couch watching tv with the kids as she remembered what Eric said to her while they were arguing,
" Because she matters ..." kept playing over and over in her head as she stared blankly at the tv as they were watching Looney Toons. Kells, thought about how all the things they've done and how she felt betrayed, but yet still in love with Eric since she was still carrying his baby and couldn't stand the thought of that woman taking her place and touching him the way she touched him or kissing him the way she kissed him, needless to say Kells felt so humiliated yet insecure as she sat there mindlessly pondering over the thought of that random Eric had brought home to replace her as he was grabbing onto her and treating her like she really was special to him. A tear fell from Kells cheek as she quickly wiped it away and continued to watch the show as she leaned back in couch with her fingers in her waves and her eyes just mindlessly glued onto the scene where the Road Runner tricks Wylie Coyote in running into a rock.
The kids laughed while she sat there giggling softly as she was sitting there sinking into the couch with her elbow laying on the armrest of the couch and her hand on the side of her face;
Meanwhile, Eric was still trying to shake the argument he had with Kells as he sat on his chair at his desk smoking a cigar while drinking some Jack Daniels as he couldn’t of believe the mess he made he wasn’t trying to hurt her nor was he trying to lead her on, but he sure as hell didn’t want a serious relationship with her. He took another sip of his Jack Daniels as he sighed and thought about not just how crazy Kells had reacted when she saw Melina in his arms but also the idea of having a child with her was all overwhelming. Eric was coming to terms with the idea of being a father but unfortunately feels Kells is making it harder on him due to her possessiveness and clingy behavior which is making it harder for Eric to move on which he was trying to with Melina but Kells seems to want him for herself and only for herself.
Eric tried to compose himself as he sat in his chair slouched and frustrated annoyed at Kells’ behavior and her crazy actions he tried to take to take his mind off of the situation as he put out his cigar and finished his drink then went to his room to lie down.
**Meanwhile at Bessie’s house**
Kells was laying on her back on her bed in her room staring mindlessly at the ceiling while thinking about Eric.
She thought about Eric kissing that girl over and over and when she did she became so enraged with anger she had some scissors in her hands and carved into the wall since it was wooden
“Eric + Kells = 4ever” in a big heart as she cried while saying to herself
“ He will love me and I will make him love me! I have his baby so he needs to be with me! Right!?!”.
Then suddenly she heard a scream and it was from Eric she peeked out her bedroom window and saw he screamed looking at his car as she glared at him and laid back down, but didn’t expect Eric to knock on her door as her eyes widened as she got up and went down the stairs and sat on the stairs while watching to see Bessie walk to the door as Bessie turned to her and asked her “ how come you didn’t get the door?” Kells just raised her eyebrow and said “ you’re already getting the door so why should I?”
Bessie, glared at her in annoyance then went to the door and opened it to see Eric as she smiled and said “ Eric, well hi! What are you doing here?” Eric smiled politely and said “ Hi Bessie can we talk in private?” Bessie smiled and said “ ok sure do you want to sit down and have some coffee?”
Eric nodded as he walked in while glaring at Kells. As he walked into the dining room he sat down at the table while Bessie gave him a cup of coffee and then asked him “ do you want any creamer or sugar?” and he said “ no thank you” then she sat down with her cup of coffee and asked “ so what do you want to talk about?” and without beating around the bush Eric said “ I think Kells messed with my car” Bessie then raised her eyebrow while sipping her coffee and then asked “ what makes you think she messed with your car?” Eric got quiet for a few minutes, but then said “ Look I’m not necessarily completely sure, but I think there might be a chance she messed with it since I wasn’t gone for too long and I came back outside and there’s sugar in my tank and crack on my window so I don’t know I think she probably did it”. Bessie then asked again “ well how do you know if it was her?” then Eric said “ just please ask her right now so that way I can have some peace of mind” Bessie sighed and said “ ok” and called Kells over to the dining room as Bessie asked her “ so Kells Eric just told me his car got messed up and wanted to know if you did it?” Kells looked at Eric then at Bessie and said with a straight face “ nope don’t know anything about that “ Eric then asked “ so you didn’t do anything to my car?” Kells then shook her head no and said “ nope I didn’t do anything to your car” Bessie then asked “ so what were you doing when his car got messed up?” Kells then said with her arms folded “ watching the kids while you were sending dirty texts to Mr. Chang who is married by the way” Bessie glared at her and said “ I don’t think that’s any of your business” and then Kells said while with her hands on her hips and raising her voice “ Oh which part? The part where you’re being a side chick or the part where you keep me up at night with your nasty ass moans coming from your bedroom when you’re having phone sex with a married man? “ Bessie’s eyes widened in embarrassment while Kells walked away as she flipped off Bessie.
Bessie, just sat there and drank her coffee while Eric got up and walked out.
As Eric walked out the house he texted Kells “ we need to talk later come to my house at 2 PM”.
