you were supposed to be my landing place
My heart tumbles and falls
Hurtling through the pit where we were tossed
But never quite hitting the bottom.
The earth opened her mouth
And swallowed me when I took that leap of faith.
There's nothing quite so sweet
As the feeling of my chest bursting
Oozing hot pools of heartache
Where you finger fucked my softest places
And made me lick it from your fingers.
The tantrums we throw and the ill made promises we make
Do horrid dances on the shelf
As I sit alone in my room
Willing it all to go away.
Hurtling through the pit where we were tossed
But never quite hitting the bottom.
The earth opened her mouth
And swallowed me when I took that leap of faith.
There's nothing quite so sweet
As the feeling of my chest bursting
Oozing hot pools of heartache
Where you finger fucked my softest places
And made me lick it from your fingers.
The tantrums we throw and the ill made promises we make
Do horrid dances on the shelf
As I sit alone in my room
Willing it all to go away.
