How do you expect a girl to be innocent when she's been fucked over her whole life?
Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.
We all have that one friend who's the reason I have to carry pepper spray just to go to the store.
The one who says, "bitches like that," when a woman complains about being choked.
The one who thinks he's a nice guy.
If you can't tell which friend it is, it's probably you.
Your anatomy is not what upsets me, it's how you separate me from you just by my gender.
In strength, in smarts, and in domestic living.
Like little boys at recess.
Don't be a boy, be a man.

I feel like there’s a lot of tension on the streets at the moment especially with women even daring to be alive. I liked the eloquence in this piece and that it felt like it came from a place of passion.
