Sacred beauty

 Inclination

I placed myself
 upon an altar piece
of life

sloped gently at bay
I meet the remnants
a retaining wall

offerings
in hours
of blue

a stranger awaits me
there is dirt around
his fingernails

"I am olden, he said"
"I am stillness hiding , little fearer
you are human "

I crossed the road
welcomed guests
I crossed the road
to courage

inspired by the blue hour , this occurs around 1 or 2 o'clock in the afternoon between January and February. Every day the atmosphere becomes enchantingly blue a few minutes later than the previous day as the sun gains strength. The closer to the Artic Circle the deeper the blue gets.
