Dream Quest
My pilgrimage into deep forest green
over crest of hill into sunken monastery
I follow the circular path
where ascetic monks
greet my world weary soul
Gray bearded sages smile
under darkening sky
on shore of crystal stream
which rolls past rickety shacks
Spring water flows pure from rocky hillside
My heart feels the flow of happiness
yet my feet tread onward
The path to heaven before me
goddess sings to me of home

Beautiful imagery and stunning word choices, especially sunken, ascetic, sages, rickety. Full stops to demarcate the end of each sentence/ idea would add clarity.
