HANGING HEAD
Does anyone
care?
Does it matter
to anyone?
Is there
any passion
or sensitivity?
He is
not standing,
his head
is bowed low.
Isn't there
anyone who
will gently
comfort, caress,
and kiss his
hanging head?
Surely, there is
a heart being touched
somewhere to
reach out and comfort;
even a gentle touch
will be appreciated.
