I don't love you just
because you are beautiful,
gorgeous, and breath-taking
I don't love you just
because you are wealthy,
debt-free, and shower
me with gifts.
I don't love you just
because you are hightly
educated and pragmatic.
I don't love you just
because you are the
perfect sexual partner
in and out of bed.
I don't love you just
because you have a body
Venus envies and women
are jealous over and men lust after.
NO!
All of these and other attributes
I adore, respect, and accept,
BUT they are not the
REASON I love you in
the deepest parts of
my soul, heart, and spirit;
the reason I trust you.
THE REASON I love you is
because of your
HONESTY and TRUTHFULNESS
in EVERY situation. If you
lost all of the above and more,
I would still love you for these
two important virtues. They
will win over any challenge that
comes our way. Yes, I am an
old-fashioned believer in
TRUTH, both spoken and practiced;
especially PRACTICED.
